John Stafford & Sons

This family business has been supplying the hand tool, power tool and D.I.Y. markets for 60 years. In 2007 Staffords employed Brook Business Solutions to help to get the most from its Sage 200 system. Brook have already shown John Stafford employees how to achieve higher levels of productivity. Now Staffords are using Brook to help them expand their systems to manage more of their business functions (e.g. CRM, real time stock control, e-trading, management reporting, etc).

Babco Europe Ltd.

Babco is one of Ireland’s fastest growing developers, exporters, and distributors of alcoholic beverages. Its flagship brand Mickey Finn is Ireland’s second largest exported alcoholic beverage product, and is distributed in a variety of global markets. Brook Business Solutions devised a powerful accounting and management solution, focused on Sage 200, that provides comprehensive stock, accounting, and management control, as well as significantly increased productivity, for this fast-growing company.

Wizard Furniture

This company is growing at an exceptional rate due to assembly contracts for large furniture suppliers, including Harvey Normans. Working with Brook Business Solutions, Sage 200 was implemented and customised to provide specific requirements for Purchasing, Sales Order Tracking, Delivery Scheduling and Stock Control. The management of Wizard were delighted that they could replace an old bespoke system with a standard application and customise this to suit their exact needs within their budget.

LIFESTYLE, LEISURE & MEDIA

Dyflin Media Ltd.

Dyflin Media, winner of the PPAI Publisher of the Year in 2005 (the highest accolade in Ireland for the industry), publishes some of Ireland’s most popular magazines including House and Home, Confetti and Garda Review among others. Brook Business Solutions developed a solution based on the Sage 200 accounting software suite to provide comprehensive accounting and management reporting capabilities. Working with Brook, Dyflin management set up each publication as a separate profit centre, enabling them to track relevant costs and sales, and keep tabs on publication-specific profitability.

Skerries Golf Club

Skerries Golf Club was founded in 1905 and so has just celebrated its centenary (100 years young). The club has grown from strength to strength and has invested to improve its facilities recently. In 2006, the club upgraded their computer systems and contracted Brook Business Solutions to supply a modern accounting and business management system. Brook provided accounting and payroll software as well as consulting services which has streamlined the procedures in the administration office as well as allowing for easy production of detailed financial reports.

MEDICAL & PHARMACEUTICAL

Vernon Medical

Vernon Medical distributes medical supplies such as needle systems, endoscopic accessories and theatre consumables to many of the leading hospitals in Ireland. Brook initially implemented Sage 50 into Vernon Medial to provide basic computerised accounting functions. Vernon Medical has seen terrific growth and Brook have been delighted to be able to help them expand their systems to meet the new business requirements that they now have (i.e. payroll, ordering, stock control, etc).
