Overview
Brook Business Solutions is a Dublin based company set up with the objective of providing customised solutions to the business requirements of small and medium sized companies in Ireland. Our aim is to be a “solution provider” offering a complete, professional service to our customers in a flexible manner that suits their ongoing needs thus building successful long-term relationships. Our approach to this is; analyse the requirements, use standard business management software as the foundation to fulfill the common tasks and finally customise to produce a solution matching all the requirements. Using this approach, our products and services, customers will be free to concentrate on their own strengths to develop their companies into more efficient and productive businesses.Key People
The key people at Brook have over 50 years combined experience covering many of the main areas of business and have been involved in providing solutions to business needs for many years now.Stephanie Davies (founder and Managing Director) studied in London where she attained qualifications in Accountancy. She has worked in Accounting and Administration roles in both the UK and Ireland for over 15 years.
Stephanie progressed her career by moving to a Software Development company based in Dublin. Here Stephanie supported mission critical business solutions in the Pharmaceutical, Food, Electrical Wholesaling & Distribution industries. Through this experience Stephanie’s added consultancy, project management, implementation, training and support to her skills.
Most recently Stephanie moved to Sage Ireland, where she became a Product Specialist and is certified in Sage’s latest product lines. Stephanie’s desire to return to the role of ‘solution provider’ along with her excellent relationship with Sage and confidence in their products encouraged her to establish Brook Business Solutions.
Tom Shields (co-founder and Technical Director) is a graduate of the Dublin Institute of Technology and Trinity College, Dublin where he studied Information Technology and its use in the commercial sector. He has worked as a programmer, analyst and technical lead for over 17 years in software companies developing commercial applications.
With experience of developing software for many business sectors, including wholesale distribution, retail, point of sale, equipment hire and vehicle sales, Tom has spent his most recent years creating bespoke enterprise software for the pharmaceutical wholesale and distribution sectors in Ireland and the U.K.
Tom managed technical teams and was Technical Director on the board of a successful software company for nearly 10 years. He now oversees all the technical tasks within Brook Business Solutions.
Tim Fawson (Technical Services Managing Director) started his career in the aerospace engineering arena where he spent 13 years. From there he moved into the IT sector of a pharmaceutical wholesaling company. For the last 10 years he has been involved in software development for the pharmaceutical industry, 5 of which he attained the position of software development director.
Tim was brought into Brook to start up and manage our "Technical Services" division which looks after software development, implementation and integration.
